Daniel Buhr is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Buhr Design & Development Group, a veteran-owned company focused on engineering, aerospace, advanced energy systems, strategic program development, government initiatives, and complex project execution. With more than three decades of experience spanning military leadership, engineering, executive strategy, renewable energy, and business development, Dan leads multidisciplinary initiatives that transform complex ideas into practical, mission-focused solutions.

A retired U.S. Navy Commander, Dan served nearly twenty years in operational, engineering, and leadership roles supporting national defense and global military operations. Throughout his military and civilian career, he has built a reputation for solving difficult technical challenges, leading high-performing teams, and managing programs where strategic thinking and flawless execution are essential.

Following his military service, Dan held executive leadership positions within the aerospace and defense industry, including serving as Senior Principal Strategic Development Manager at Collins Aerospace, where he led strategic growth initiatives, evaluated emerging technologies, developed long-range business strategies, and supported next-generation aerospace and defense programs. He also served as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Naval Science at Iowa State University, mentoring future military officers and engineering leaders.

Today, Dan supports government and commercial organizations through strategic leadership, engineering, technology integration, systems development, program management, and executive advisory services. His work includes aerospace systems, advanced communications, energy resilience, mission systems integration, proposal strategy, government program execution, and large-scale multidisciplinary projects supporting both public and private sector clients.

As a Certified Tesla Energy Partner, Dan also leads initiatives involving renewable energy, battery storage, distributed energy systems, and resilient power infrastructure. He believes that the future lies at the intersection of advanced engineering, sustainable energy, intelligent systems, and disciplined program execution.

Under Dan's leadership, Buhr Design & Development Group continues to expand beyond traditional consulting, bringing together engineering expertise, strategic planning, project management, technology integration, energy solutions, and government program support under one unified organization. Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Iowa State University and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. He combines engineering discipline with executive leadership to help organizations solve complex challenges, accelerate innovation, and deliver meaningful results.

Angelia Lynn Buhr is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Buhr Design & Development Group, where she oversees the company's operations, business administration, strategic planning, branding, and organizational development. She works alongside the executive leadership team to ensure the successful execution of company initiatives while managing the day-to-day functions that support continued growth across government, aerospace, energy, and commercial markets.

With more than twenty years of experience in operations management, business administration, project coordination, and client relations, Angelia brings a unique combination of organizational leadership and entrepreneurial experience to the company. Her ability to transform complex processes into efficient, well-managed systems has been instrumental in building and growing multiple successful business ventures.

Prior to co-founding Buhr Design & Development Group, Angelia served for nearly two decades as Director of Operations for a national staffing organization, where she managed business operations, personnel, client services, financial administration, and organizational processes. This experience established the operational foundation that continues to guide her leadership today.

As Chief Operating Officer, Angelia oversees business operations, financial management, marketing, communications, project coordination, vendor relationships, contract administration, compliance support, and corporate branding. She is responsible for creating the systems and processes that allow technical teams and project leaders to remain focused on delivering exceptional results for clients.

Although her professional background includes many years leading a successful interior design and project management business, Angelia's focus today is on building scalable business operations that support engineering, energy, technology, and government initiatives. Her experience managing complex projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and developing efficient business systems provides an essential operational foundation for the company's continued growth.
